Q1. Where is the Consulate General of Saint Lucia located?
The Consulate General is located in Fort-de-France, Martinique, at 3 Rue de la Libération. We serve Saint Lucians residing in Martinique, Guadeloupe, and French Guiana.
Q2. What are the Consulate’s office hours?
We are open Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. The Consulate is closed on weekends and public holidays.
Q3. How do I make an appointment?
All services are by appointment only.
You may schedule your visit through the “Book an Appointment” button on our website or by emailing congen.fr-ant.secretariat@govt.lc.
You will receive a confirmation message before your visit with your assigned date, time, and checklist of documents.
Q4. Can I apply for a Saint Lucian passport at the Consulate?
Yes. The Consulate processes new passport applications, renewals, and replacements.
All applications must be submitted in person, with original documents and payment in Euros.
Please allow 4–6 weeks for processing.
Q5. What should I do if my passport is lost or stolen?
Report the loss or theft immediately to local police and obtain a police report.
Bring the report, a photo ID, and a signed affidavit to the Consulate to apply for a replacement passport.
Q6. Can the Consulate issue an emergency travel document?
Yes, in exceptional circumstances and at the discretion of the Consulate, a temporary travel document may be issued to facilitate urgent travel.
Q7. How long does it take to receive a new passport?
Normal processing time is 4–6 weeks.
Expedited requests may take 2–3 weeks, depending on approval from the Passport Office in Saint Lucia.
